Creative Touch
Creative Touch was founded in 1986 by Janet Widmer as a interior decorating business and by 1992 Janet expanded the business to open a store front in Historic Hutto.
The business again expanded in 2009 when her son Matt Widmer became the manager and co owner with Janet.
Janet's daughter Kim Kubala joined soon after as a senior manager/buyer in Creative Touch. Since 2009 Creative Touch has transitioned away from interior decorating into a unique gift shop.
Creative Touch also expanded in 2011 into the building located next door and opened Candy Corner. Candy Corner is connected to Creative Touch and offers a wide variety of packaged and bulk candy.
Creative Touch and Candy Corner now have over 1,800 sq.ft. of showroom floor. In the shop you will find a wide variety of gifts including jewelry, seasonal decorations, specialty food items, candy, toys, children's gifts and cloths, cookware, candles, and many home decor items.

Both historic buildings Creative Touch is located inside were built in 1891 and are truly a unique look into history. One building was originally a general store while the other building was a bank which also held doctors offices in the upper floor.
